Over 3m naira raised

In 2022 we raised over 3million naira from cash and non-cash donations such as books, crocs, clothes, food etc.

We used the donations for causes such as the initial Bariga project, scholarships for 6 children, and also taking care of the hospital bills of a child who got severe burns

50+ children mentored

We’ve been able to mentor about 60 children through the different projects we’ve executed.

The non-cash donations were distributed to the children and we used the cash donations to plan and execute different projects that were aimed at helping the children grow.

7+ projects executed

8 mentorship and skill acquisition classes were organised in 2022.

The goal of the classes were to help the children discover and nurture their potentials, hidden talents and abilities, and prepare them for a sustainable future.

This annual project was birth from our vision to extend outreach and provide support to children in low-income areas. We firmly believe that education plays a pivotal role in granting these children an opportunity to contribute towards creating a better society.

The vision of the project

Our objective is to raise 3 million naira with the purpose of sponsoring 20 students in primary and secondary school throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. The average cost per scholarship recipient amounts to 150,000 naira.

It is our projection to send the recipients of this scholarship to reputable private schools within their locality with a track record of providing quality education that will transform the minds of the students

Ensuring quality control

We have created a system to ensure that only the most eligible of children who are ready to put in the work are offered the scholarship

Mid term report
Partnership with the schools to continuously get reports on the students and their performance.

End of year assessment
After each academic year, there is an assessment of each child’s progress which qualifies or disqualifies them for scholarship the next academic year. This signals the child and family that although it is given for free, the scholarship is one to be sustained by deliberate effort.
